James 1:27 exhorts us to care for the orphans and widows.
The exhortation is given to all Christians, but what that looks like lived out is different for everyone. Some are called to adopt! Some are called to encourage and visit, investing time! Some are called to support monetarily!

Please know that we have appreciated all of your prayer support and are grateful for the many who have invested time and money of your own in a young man's life who you did not know. We hope you will meet him some day soon. He will never know the amount and sacrifice made on his behalf, but I pray he will feel and truly know the love and acceptance from you! God bless!

Thursday!

As we are winding down our trip here in China, we are getting a bit stir crazy!  Ready to be home!  There is not a whole lot to tell, but mostly pictures this time.  We took a few shots in the garden area where we have taken the girl's pictures on the little bridge.

Levi is getting a little more comfortable with his smile these days.  It's nice to see him relax!

Some of our group started leaving Wednesday afternoon so we had the traditional pictures in the lobby.  Such a big group with family members altogether, they took multiple groups.

Then I got the two 13 year olds, Levi and Cuh(sp?)!  Cuh is 6 months younger than Levi.  Saying goodbye to recently made friends is hard to do!

Levi has been very accepted by the parents in the group!  They have taken the time to interact with him!

When we are in our room, Levi immediately hops under the covers because he's not used to the cool.  He turns the temperature up, and Paul turns it down!

He is liking to watch TV...some superhero show is his favorite!  Funny thing is, some of the Chinese shows have Chinese subtitles.  Not much good for us!

Today, we made a trip to a pharmacy as Levi is having trouble with his ears.  We're not sure it it's an infection or not, but it's causing him a headache.  Having Nurse Nancy, I mean Nurse Faith, here is a plus, as we got some amoxocillan and ear drops OTC.  It was fun watching the employees in the store help us figure out what we wanted to buy, using the translator!

Levi also picked up some "lizard on a stick" medicine.  Not sure what that's used for!  But we will pass!

Other misc:
He is practicing writing his English name, and we are practicing writing his Chinese name.  He is a patient teacher!

Isaac, this picture is for you, with the big elephant!

Bus rides...he loves the front seat, very interested in where we are going, and hanging on Dad!

TTFN
That's all for now!
2 days more!
