James 1:27 exhorts us to care for the orphans and widows.
The exhortation is given to all Christians, but what that looks like lived out is different for everyone. Some are called to adopt! Some are called to encourage and visit, investing time! Some are called to support monetarily!

Please know that we have appreciated all of your prayer support and are grateful for the many who have invested time and money of your own in a young man's life who you did not know. We hope you will meet him some day soon. He will never know the amount and sacrifice made on his behalf, but I pray he will feel and truly know the love and acceptance from you! God bless!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

A big THANK YOU to our dear daughter-in-law, Ana!  She faithfully and skillfully added our posts from China, since we were not able to access blogspot.  She edited late night entries...making corrections in spelling and grammar, and whatever else was needed!  It was a a blessing to know that that it was taken care of; that she knew and understood blogging, and knew how we wanted it passed on.

Thank you, Ana, for ALL the time and effort!  We love you!

  1. It is kind of sad seeing the China adventure wrap up, what an amazing trip!!! Thank you for sharing it with me! Ana- you did an awesome job! It was the only way people at work and friends could follow the trip, I got many comments about how great the site was...(you too, Paul & Beth!) so... The adventure is really just beginning, but now in America and the "everydayness" of life! God has blessed Levi with an awesome family to love and care 4 him, and blessed you with a warm-hearted, loving young man to take his place in the family and honor and love you, bringing laughter, tears, and more teenage years! I know I am changed - may we all grow in love and family. Welcome Home, Levi !
