James 1:27 exhorts us to care for the orphans and widows.
The exhortation is given to all Christians, but what that looks like lived out is different for everyone. Some are called to adopt! Some are called to encourage and visit, investing time! Some are called to support monetarily!

Please know that we have appreciated all of your prayer support and are grateful for the many who have invested time and money of your own in a young man's life who you did not know. We hope you will meet him some day soon. He will never know the amount and sacrifice made on his behalf, but I pray he will feel and truly know the love and acceptance from you! God bless!

Romans 15:13

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” 
Leaving for Portland today, and fly out early tomorrow...San Francisco then Beijing.  To say we are excited is an understatement!  We look forward to introducing you to Levi in a week, via internet...and then in person.  
We want to say THANK YOU, once again to all who have been such a support, from the minor details to the big.  God has provided  for this journey financially through many of your sacrificial giving, and we do not take that generosity lightly!  May God's blessing be upon you!  For your lifting us in prayer...what better way to provide....maybe that is why we feel such peace in this journey!  Please continue to pray....for the bonding of this young man, that he would feel loved and wanted, for wisdom for us! and for the little girls we leave in the good hands of Papa and Bamma!
