James 1:27 exhorts us to care for the orphans and widows.
The exhortation is given to all Christians, but what that looks like lived out is different for everyone. Some are called to adopt! Some are called to encourage and visit, investing time! Some are called to support monetarily!

Please know that we have appreciated all of your prayer support and are grateful for the many who have invested time and money of your own in a young man's life who you did not know. We hope you will meet him some day soon. He will never know the amount and sacrifice made on his behalf, but I pray he will feel and truly know the love and acceptance from you! God bless!

Leaving next Wednesday?

maybe...possibly...don't know yet!

This adoption has been FULL of surprises...waiting....
But never have I seen God more fully work time and time again! than when, at each turn and seemingly unnecessary hold up He has pulled us through, working behind the scenes.  Never have I felt such peace that God, whose plan this was from the beginning, would work to accomplish His plans.

TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!

Prayer request:  That we would be able to find airline tickets at a reasonable price, within our budget, at this late date!

Thank you all who have prayed and watched this come to fruition.  I pray that your own faith has been strengthened, seeing our amazing God at work!

Isaiah 40:31  Those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.
